For maximum blade life, Spyral recommends using bandsaw wheels of 24 inches or larger. Smaller wheel diameters increase stress on the continuous loop weld joint with each revolution, which can reduce blade longevity. Using Bestway Roller Guides in both the upper and lower guide positions further extends blade performance and cutting accuracy.

Spyral bandsaw blades are rated for a maximum operating speed of 5,000 surface feet per minute (sfm). Operating within this speed range ensures safe, efficient cutting performance and maximizes the service life of the resistance-welded continuous loop blade across all supported materials and applications.
